Foundation
The foundation of DESOTEC was done in 1990 by Günther Dengler. The main points of DESOTEC had been set on the area of manufacturing of special machinery for products of electro-technics, automobile industry, sanitary technology and cosmetics. In a certain time period there was a development in direction to products of the pharmaceutical and medical industry, where currently DESOTEC has focussed his knowledge as a central point.
From the very beginning, our company was a sought-after specialist in process technologies featuring high efficiency, cost effectiveness and productivity. Customers also appreciate our fair business culture.
“Management buy-out” as succession plan
In 2008, Günther Dengler withdrew from the company, handing it over to his colleagues Roland Blum, Martin Heidenwag and E. Alexander Höflinger through a management buy-out. The successful change of ownership was also backed by a minority interest taken by the APTAR group (a leading developer and manufacturer of dispensing systems).
Fit for the future
As equals, today’s main partners and the managing director determine the strategic alignment of the company based on the company’s philosophy and on a growth plan recognised by a founder prize. This includes the doubling of the production floor in 2011, as well as the purchase of further land as a reserve for future expansions. Our high quality standards have been certified according to DIN ISO 9001.
